The career of Painting Artist
SHIGERU TAZAWA

1925He was born in South-Tsugaru, Aomori Pref. Japan.
1951He started a private art school "DONGURI-BIJUTSU-KAI" for children.
1953He met with Mr. GEN-ICHIRO INOKUMA, one of starting members of aggressive professional artists associatin SHIN-SEISAKU-KYOKAI, and participated in his "the Institute of Pure Art".
His work was accepted to the 17th exhibition of SHIN-SEISAKU-KYOKAI for the first time.
1954He built a studio at Tsujido in Fujisawa city.
1957He held the first personal exhibition at the MURAMATSU Gallery in Ginza.
1962He worked for YOMIURI Independent Exhibition as a member of steering committee.
1967He was accepted as a member from the association of "SHIN-SEISAKU-KYOKAI".
1971He exhibited his work in a Salon in Paris.
1977He judged and lectured for the picture contest of junior high school and high school students held in Korean university.
1979He teached drawing pictures to children at the Second School of Kanagawa Prefecture Total Rehabilitation Center in Nanasawa for two years.
1980He worked as a lecturer of the Special Art Cource of National Iwate University.
1986The First Works Collection is published.
1988He worked as a foreman of SHIN-SEISAKU-KYOKAI's hanging committee for 1 year.
1997The Second Works Collection is published.
