"Whisper of the Heart" was screened in Tama.
The event was held for the period - the13th of April 7, 1997 in the Tokyo Tama City. The theme of event was " '97 where TAMA woman and man live both". And,"Whisper of the Heart" was screened in "Parthenon Tama" at Tama city on the 12th.

I arrived at Parthenon Tama 3F small hall screening beginning 15 minutes ago. It has already thought might be full there. However, spectators were about 50 unexpectedly persons. It entered to the screening beginning in half capacity. Most of the spectator was taking of families.
It became the screening time. Here, the announcement flowed.
........"Whisper of the Heart" is screened now. Hero's Seiji has the steady idea. Leading part's Seiji has the steady idea. Heroine's Shizuku is not satisfied with the current state. Let's think together by seeing these two persons. About the meaning of living of a man and the woman together And, you might notice.that Sceneries of "Whisper of the Heart" looking like the town where we live.........
This might be a wonderful dialog in sentences. However, the announcement was read aloud in an indeed stupid voice. Laughter happened between spectators to the voice of the announcement because it was too funny. However, this announcement eloquently explained the reason why "Whisper of the Heart" had selected as a screening work.
The intention is this. The movie that local of us becomes a stage is screened. Then, the story of a living healthy man and woman is screened.
That is, "Whisper of the Heart" was the most suitable movie for the sponsoring side of the event to express their intentions.
To our regret, the quality of screening was not so high. The film had a lot of wounds and dirt. And, the voice was monaural most regrettably. However, the content of "Whisper of the Heart" is wonderful whenever we see. Especially, the shout of joy went up from the hall in the scene to which a cat fat with Seiji had appeared.
An elderly woman was speaking very highly of the hoop "Whisper of the Heart" after screening. The reason for it is a too healthy, fresh youth. I became glad hearing the word.

In "Whisper of the Heart", there were the scenery of "Ibarard" appeared in the scene which Shizuku imagined to write her story. The private exhibition of Mr.Naohisa Inoue who is the author of this "Ibarard" is being held now. (At the Pinpoint Gallerry Tokyo-Aoyama from January 13 to 25, 1997 )
The work of about 20 points or more was exhibited in the Gallerry. An extremely exact drawing crowding can be loudly observed in the vicinity. The height of the exhibited amount was lower than that of the standard. Therefore, it is height of best for the woman and the child to see them.
A period necessary to produce these works is not especially decided. One needs in several weeks, other needs several years. The work taking about 10 years to produce was being exhibited at this time.
In the Gallerry, CD and CD-ROM of "Ibarad" and the picture collection of "Ibarad" were sold on. Mr.Inoue was signing pleasantly to them.

The retirement model train finally.
The train which became the model of the movie retires in the limit in 01 Dec.1996. Shizuku met the cat"Moon" in this train of this same type.(Keio-Teito 5000systems) Inadvertently the active services in the train of this type an awful lot several years ago. However, the generation change of the vehicle is surely advanced. I think that the event is enough to actually feel the change in the age.

The woodcut picture "Boy who made the violin in the prison" appeared to this volume of "Whisper of the Heart". The private exhibition of Mr.Keisuke Miyazaki who is the production person of this woodcut is held. (At the Pinpoint Gallerry Tokyo-Aoyama from November 18 to 23, 1996 ) The exhibition total is rather few with 15 points. However, the tool named "byuran" used for the carving crowding besides the material wood and the printing block is exhibited.
He dares to detach the glass of amount. The purpose of the reason is to make the work seen deliberately can had. This is his nice consideration. In the production of one point, it seems not to be unusual to take one month either. This is a craftsman exactly art. The print of "Boy who made the violin in the prison" was exhibited as a reference exhibition.

"Whisper of the Heart" was televised by Nippon Television Network Corporation on October 11, 1996.
At the end of the program, "Princess Mononoke" was introduced. Not much was shown, because work on the film is still in progress. However, it gave me something more than my imagination to think about. The content of the preview was a lot more violent than I imagined it would be.
Next year it's opening will be enjoyed. (^ ^)
