Omikuji is a type of fortune-telling that can be done at Japanese
temples and shrines.
The robot writes one of the Chinese characters
"大吉","吉","中吉","小吉","末吉","凶" and "大凶" with a brush.
"大吉" means Excellent luck, "吉" means Good luck, "中吉" means Middle
blessing, "小吉'' means Small blessing, "末吉'' means Ending blessing,
"凶'' means Bad luck, and "大凶'' means "Extremely bad luck.''
I have exhibited in China and Taiwan several times, and it seems
that these Chinese characters have the same meaning in China and
Taiwan as they do in Japan.
