● (No.192) 衛星LO-19 内部時刻修正 (2000年1月22日)

衛星LO-19の衛星内部の時刻の遅れを jamsat-bb にも何度か報告しましたが、
1月21日に衛星からの PSKテレメトリを受信し、衛星内部の時刻がほぼ正しい
協定世界時(GMT)に修正されていることを確認しました。また正確に 15秒ごと
に時刻データを送信していることもわかりました。

この修正に合わせて PSK信号の送信周波数が、437.125MHz(USB)に すでに変更
されています。(CW Beaconは停止)。 この受信したテレメトリデータファイル
とレポートを、下記Webに登録してあります。

本日(2000年1月22日)、衛星LO-19の生誕10周年です。

LO-19は、1990年1月22日 01:35:31UTC に南米ギアナのクールー基地から 打ち
上げられました。今日でちょうど10年です。この日さらに、時刻データの送信
が 10秒ごとに変更されました。

これに関連して、LO-19の管制局の LU7XAC/Nestor Pavan氏 と何度か情報交換
したのですが、そのメール類を公開する許可を得ましたので下に紹介します。
また参考に、衛星LO-19のプロフィールを最後に掲載しておきます。

I received LO-19 CW telemetry every one minute on Jan 15, 2000,
One frame contains eight numbers data of three figures as below.
The followings is some nominal data on 01:42-01:57UTC, Jan 15.

First line is the actual received data and second line is the 
replaced data with real number by the transformation.  And
I analyzed these data by the equations in [SpaceNews 27-Dec-99].

I'm very glad to have notices from some old japanese friends, and make
new ones. I've very good response from they some years ago (1996 AO-10,
AO-13 B and S mode operation from LU and CE, JE2VVN coordinated) and
this time, turning the millennium, I'm very pleased to have TLM reports
from your beatyfull country.
As you know, lusat is near doubbling its expected 5-6 years life.
Batterys, solar panels and memory are not in its original shape.
Then, I'm trying to evaluate the energetic ballance of the spacecraft,
but may be the sensor callibration have drifted a bit after 10 years of
space environment.

I received today, 17 Jan, many PSK telemetry from LO-19.

Program   : WiSP3213(gsc V2.03), kiss2asc.exe, tlmdc4.exe
Frequency : 437.500MHz(USB), 1200bps, PSK_mode
Time      : 00:43-00:57UTC, 02:22-02:37UTC, 04:05-04:11UTC
           (09:43-09:57JST, 11:22-11:37JST, 13:05-13:11JST)

The followings are the example data converted into the ascii data
with 'kiss2asc.exe' and the data decoded with 'tlmdc4.exe'.

And I put the gif image '00117l19.gif' of WiSP and the kiss file
'00117l19.zip' from WiSP in my HomePage below.

These three example data show "02:27:08UTC, Jan 17, 2000", but 
I think the TIME in the satellite is delayed about eight minutes
from UTC.  So, I think the correct TIME is "02:35:08UTC, Jan 17"
in the data below.

I put the LO-19 CW and PSK telemetry on Jan.15-19, and the report
in my HomePage below. (You can read only english version files.)

I noticed that the TIME in the inner satellite was delayed
about 8 minutes and 20 seconds from UTC.

Good morning Wakita San, Thank you very much for your report and TLM
files, I downloaded it from your homepage.
Jan 19, near 15:15Hs GMT I turned OFF the CW beacon, and ON the
raised-cosine Tx, which had better carrier supression (-12dB) and
then is easy to decode.
I put the clock on time, too ! ;-)

I confirmed today, Jan 21, the satellite LO-19 kept correct
inner TIME of GMT.  And I noticed that the sat. transmitted
PSK telemetry and clock data every 15 seconds at 437.125MHz.

I put this KISS telemetry data files and detail reports in
my Home Page Web below.

Well, would you allow me to put on my web the resent your
mails for me ?

Yes, the lo-19 clock is fine, only some seconds faster.
Today 21/1 (yesterday for you!) near 10:00 UTC I put the TLM rate
ever 10 seconds.
As I say in a former mail, if you need a special CW schedule for any
demonstration or club experience, count on us.
