The sturgeon is distributed over China, European U.S.A., most areas (a sea area) of the Northern Hemisphere of the Canada isothermal zone northward including Russia and Iran. The figure which went up for laying eggs seems to have been seen in the river of Hokkaido and Tohoku region once, but it seems to have become capture around several now in the Chinese sea near the shore in Japan.
It spend once a period of breeding season and the fry period with fresh water and can divide the sturgeon into two kinds of a thing living for, in addition, most periods in the sea that it spends with fresh water throughout the life. The sturgeon going down in the sea returns to the river for laying eggs like a salmon, but if a salmon will resemble it, laying eggs is over and does not need to seem to die and comes back to the sea again.
The life is generally called dozens of years, but it is said that it is over 100 years depending on a kind and repeats laying eggs many times among life. The caviar counted among the one of the world high quality delicacies is an egg of the sturgeons.
