Mormyridae is there about 190 kinds drop and are distributed over the African tropical level. Most of these friends are full length 10-20 cm, but the greatest kind reaches 1.5 m. A type with a long rostrum called Elphant nose is famous,; but, as for the form of the rostrum part, is various. It is a generation organ of the peduncle part and is feeble, but it generates electricity and receive this electric current in a receptor of the head and can grasp a mise en scene from the state of the change of the electric field.
