The body of Angel Shark resembles rays. A pectoral is big, and there is not the splinter, and the dorsal fin does not have the ventral fin with 2, too. There is almost the mouth in the front edge of the body. The nostril has a mustache in the leading edge in the front edge of the body. There are the eyes in the back side. It lives at the bottom of the shallow sea. The oldest fossil is discovered from the stratum of the latter period in the Jurassic.
