Insect Stamp of British Jersey

British jersey is located in the France slippage to the English Channel which faces across Britain and France, and a size is at least Izu Peninsula. A jersey island is a population of about 90,000. About 800 years have maintained administrative organization and a taxation system original as a self-governing dominion under British dynasty protection. The deposit from overseas and investment go up to 90 billion pound (about 14,400 billion yen) for low tax rates, and 80% of the income of this island is called finance business. Moreover, it is famous also as the place of origin of many jersey milk subsequently to the Holstein milk.
Six kinds of insect stamps were issued from this british jersey in 2002.
The stamps with world wide fund for nature contribution which drew two kinds of insects and two kinds of animals were issued in 2004.
