Insect Stamp of Republic of Upper Volta

Upper Volta is located at the inland in West Africa and characterizes according to two contrastive season, the dry season and the rainy season. It is one of the countries stabilized also in West African countries especially politically. It became independent of France in 1960. The main industries are agriculture and stock farming and 80% of people are this agriculture and stock farming. It is alike and is engaged.
Four kinds of insect stamps were issued from this Republic of Upper Volta in 1966. Six kinds of insect stamps were issued in 1981. A termite appears first as an insect stamp among these stamps.
The coup d'etat occurred in 1982 and the name of a country was changed into Burkina Faso in August, 1984.
Four kinds of the stamps which drew insect were issued from this Burkina Faso in 1992.
Four kinds of grasshopper stamps were issued in 1996.
Ten kinds of normal stamps describing insect were issued in 2002.
