各局皆様、TRAKBOX に関していろいろと情報をいただき､ありがとうございます。
それをここに編集し、最後にポイントを英文に翻訳しました。ハード及びソフト
が共に進化している現在、この機器を使用している局は既にないとは思いますが
衛星通信の黎明期に活躍したこの機器に関する記事を､備忘録としてまとめます。

Hello Mr Mineo,
After many years i came back using my old trakbox for tracking Ham
satellites.After some testing and reconfiguring , it seams that hardware
is ok.
The problem is when i try to upload new sat keps, this becomes very
complicated and confusing.
I use windows hyper terminal software, using 100msg of delay on characters,
etc , and all looks good,but i get no satellites updated or maybe only one,
see picture please ..

JE3MKX/小林です。私も使用中断後再開時に同じ悩みに陥り、次の方法で
解決した記憶があります。
ハイパーターミナルと TRAKBOX の間のボーレートを低速に落とす！
一度お試しください。
当局は 2セット稼働していましたが、1セットは既に撤去し、1セットは
屋根の上のままですが、怖くて屋根に上がれぬ年齢になりました。
脇田OM、探して見ましたら当局の手元には、「TRAKBOX ROM ver.3.00」
と、ver.2.00 の「8052ボード衛星追尾ソフトウェア操作マニュアル」
JAMSAT発行がありました。前者ではボーレートは 1200～9600 となって
います。早いと読み込みが付いて行かなかったと記憶しています。
その他に気づいた点は
・最下行の NASA～IO-26 の文字は消去して下さい。
・最後に「ctrl-z」を入力されていますか？
・ハイパーターミナルと TRAKBOX のボーレートを合致させ、
sw を一度 off にし、再度 ON にされることもやってみられては！
画面ではコネクトしているようなので、ボーレートを落とし、余分な
文字を消せば上手くいくとは思いますが！
確かな解決策にならないかも知れませんがお試し下さい。
なお手元には、TAPR社の「TRAKBOX SOFTWARE reference manual」と
「assembly manual」英文版もあります。

皆さん、JH3BUM/石原です。
2ラインデータを読み込ませてから、衛星の周波数データーを書き込んだ
FRQ.dat ファイルを読み込ます必要があったかと思います。
ELM.txt と FRQ.dat を読み込ませた後、どちらも ctrl-z をキーイン
する必要があるかと思います。
基盤上の、メモリーバックアップ用のリチウムバッテリー、BT1 が
放電してしまっていないでしょうか？ FRQ-dat は毎回読み込まなくて
も良いようです。読み込まない場合は、2ラインデータを読み込んだら
ctrl-z を 2回です。

Delete the character of "NASA># 1 IO-26" in the bottom row.
Slow down the same baud rate between HyperTerminal and TRAKBOX.
And turn off the switch once and turn it on again.
After loading 2-line data, it is necessary to load the FRQ.dat
file where satellite frequency data was written.
After loading ELM.txt and FRQ.dat, you need to key in "ctrl-z".
Check whether the lithium battery BT1 for memory backup on
the board has been not discharged.

Dear OM Wakitasan. It has been over a year since I asked to you to ask
Jamsat if they can release C software for old Trakbox. I see the Autho
is JA6FTL Mr. Asato but I cannot find Mr. Asato's email address. Maybe
if you can discover his email address, since he is the Author, you can
ask to him on behalf of Amateur Radio Community to release his software
so we can build new trakbox on more modern hardware.
In the meantime I have started a project called TRACKBOX EMULATOR which
is on new hardware and completely emulates in software the old trakbox
CPU and Hardware IC's. I hope to have this finished soon, so that we
can still utilize old trakbox firmware image on new hardware.

ソースコードが永久に失われてしまう。著作権のある すばらしい Trakbox の概念
を、別のソフトハードとして蘇らせたい」ということにあるようです。
何とか著作権のあるソースコードを彼に知らせたい、あるいは朝戸氏と直接連絡を
取ってもらいたいという期待を私(JE9PEL)は持っています。もし、朝戸氏のメール

I am excited to make new trakbox with new hardware for future using
good software written by previous authors. I am sure many others

TrakBox ソースコードの件

今は動かない古いPCからHDを取り出して TrakBox の開発環境を見てみました。
Franklin-C, Keil の C51、C251, 組み込みCPU用のコンパイラ、アセンブラ
ソースはまだありました。コンパイラを動かすことはできませんでした。
Keil にはまだこの CPU用の開発セットを販売しているようで、日本にも
代理店がありますが高価(30万円！) です。 https://www.keil.com/
今日添付したファイルは、W3IWI92B.BAS ... もとになった軌道計算BASIC,
*.C, 8052 80C320 80C251 の Cソースコード等です。
もしコンパイラーの INCLUDEファイルや、DEFINE定義ファイルなども必要
でしたら、こちらの環境がすべて入った ZIPファイルを送ることができます。

JA6FTL,W3IWI各局に版権のあるTrakboxが新しいハードウェアに移植成功したと

It has been a long time but I have time now to work on trakbox updated
hardware etc. OM Martin W6LHI/G8LHI sent to me his old original trakbox

Also I want to let you know I have been successful in compiling old
trakbox software. I was missing the assembler files but I found the
missing functions in eprom image and re-created assembler functions so
I have 100% Compilation and eprom image.
Thanks to Martin I will test in my old trakbox and see how it works.
Then I will begin to think of new processor and hardware for a new
trakbox.
I want to release to HAM community as GPL Open Source and so JAMSAT
and TAPR etc. can freely use.
Also, is it ok to publish the trakbox software you made on my page so
whole world can use or do you just want me to keep private?
