2011年10月12日、インドの衛星 SRMSAT, Jugnu を載せた PSLV C-18 ロケットが
打ち上げられました。メインペイロードの Megha-Tropiques, VesselSat-1 衛星
も一緒に打ち上がっています。 フランス上空で、Jugnu, 437.275MHz CW の受信
報告がありました。
India have been successfully placed in orbit at 11:32 Am IST.

実質的には、6文字目〜11文字目に HK情報が含まれています。

SRM CW Decoder
KN-Sat1 を開発中の、インド Khartoum大学 (University of Khartoum) により、
｢SRMSAT CW Decoder｣ が公開されました。ダウンロード方法、および解析結果を
次に英文で紹介します(文責 JE9PEL/1)。 なお、解析結果は txtファイルとして
保存できますが、見やすくするため少し編集しました。
1. Install 'winrar401j.exe'(for Japanese) or 'wrar401.exe'(for English).
2. Confirm 'MSVCR71.DLL' in your C:\windows\sistem32.
3. Download 'SRM CW Decoder.rar' from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7PWS7GEA
4. Wait 44 seconds, then 'Regular download' button are appeared and click!
5. Install 'SRM CW Decoder.rar'.
6. Click on Beacon menu in 'SRMVU_Decoder.exe'.
7. Import a text file that contains SRMVU telemetry data as a next example.

SRM/IIT-K University
インド SRM大学について調べてみました。SRM大学は、インド国内でランクNo.1
に位置付けられている、南インド最大の科学技術系の私立総合大学なのですね。
SRMSAT は何か賞を取ったのでしょう。学生達が衛星を手にしている写真が PDF
にあります。SRM は何の略でしょうか。Saram かと思うのですが、ヒンディ語で
はないようです。SRM という冠詞は、大学・企業・ホテル・レストランあらゆる
ところに付いています。

Jugnu は、インド工科大学カンプール (IIT-K：Indian Institute of Technology,
Kanpur) の衛星で、Jugnu(ジュグヌー)：蛍 という意味だそうです。衛星が撮影
した画像を IIT-K の基地局へ伝え、気象・水域・農業の分野に役立たせます。

For the record, the TLE we track with us that for object E.
The frequency is 437.275 and TLE defined doppler. I'm in class right now,
so can't look for the specific number. We heard it in 4 and 17 degree
elevation passes, so when it is on, signal strength is probably not an issue.
Our payload turns on whenever we command it to, and downlink is initiated
from the ground. That is on a separate frequency, though, and we aren't
doing it just yet while we try to understand the power situation.

IIT-K 管制局からの報告 (訳 JE9PEL/1, JO1XWH)
記録のために、今 我々は Jugnu を Object E を使って追尾している。
周波数は 437.275MHz で、軌道要素はドップラーを正しく示している。
今、私は(学生で授業中なので)教室の中にいる。だから特定のメール
などを探すことができない。先日、仰角 4度と17度のパスを聞いたが、
信号強度は恐らく問題はない。我々のペイロードはコマンド送信する
時にはいつも電源オンしていて、ダウンリンクは地上から操作されて
いる。周波数は 2波あるが、まだ片方しか出ていない。コマンド送信
すれば 2波目もオンできるけれどまだ行っていない。それはテレメト
リーを受信して衛星の電源状態を把握する作業をまだ行っているから。
