The friend of Saturniid Moth is large-sized, is profound, and has the crest which often clarified to the wing. Mouse has degenerated completely and an imago eats nothing. In holding a gambling party, although Giant Agrippa Moth (Scientific Name:Thysania agrippina) of Noctuidae is the largest, in respect of area, the friend of Atlas Moth produced to Southeast Asia is the biggest moth in the world. An egg is laid on various trees and a larva eats a leaf. The larva which fully grew builds the cocoon on the branch of tree. Cocoon of Saturniid Moth is not so important than Cocoon of Silk Moth although the thread which can be taken from the cocoon of many kinds is used more from ancient times.
