Insect Stamp of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands

Territory of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands is comprised of Klose archipelago where Amsterdam island and sun Paul Island, Adelie land of the Antarctic Continent and the university land located in the southern part of Indian Ocean in one of the overseas territories of France are near, Kerguelen archipelago, French possession Scattered Islands in the Indian Ocean.
The insect stamps were issued from Territory of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands in 1971 and 1972. Surprisingly, the insect also inhabits the very cold South Pole area at low temperature very much. The primitive insect is beautifully drawn by intaglio printing of France.
