Republic of Kiribati consists of the islands with which the area at which a Pacific the date line and the Pacific equator cross is dotted, and most residents are the Micronesia systems. Although this area was discovered by Spanish people from the 16th century to the 17th century, Britain did rule. It became independent as a republic in the British Commonwealth of Nations in 1979.
The stamp which drew sixteen kinds of fish from this Republic of Kiribati was issued in 1990 and 1991.
