こんばんは。今日はマッハ号シリーズの最終回です。今回は最後の組み立てです。
まずはボンネットに開閉用の可動軸を取り付けました。これは１ミリの真鍮線パイプの中に0.3ミリの真鍮線を入れて可動するしかけになってます。本体との合いを見ながら真鍮線の長さとかを調整しながら取り付けてます。あと、ギスモ号を収納するボックスも取り付けました。
次はフロントガラスの取り付けです。フロントガラスは特に取り付け位置の指定とかはないんで、ウインド部分ののりしろにあたる部分をちまちま削りながら「合い」を調整します。削りすぎちゃうと付かなくなるし、削らないとぴったりしないし、微妙な作業の繰り返しになります。早い話、ぴったりつかないんで、ある程度強引にひっぱるようにして付けられる箇所を探す感じになります。で、作業に煮詰まった所で勢いで取り付けます。
今回は２液混合のエポキシ系の接着剤を使用しています。混合して３分で固まる速乾性のタイプなんですが、一度に両側は付けられないので、片側から順に付けます。接着剤をつま楊枝の先で接着面にちょびっと付けて、あとは指で押さえつけて待つこと５分......。（３分では付かないんです.....寒いからかも？）。これを両側で都合10分くらい机で固まってました。このままだと、張力？でガラスのセンター部分が浮き上がるのが分かったので、最後にセンターの部分を速乾性の液体セメダインを筆塗りの要領で取り付けました。
で、めでたく完成しました。ボンネットを全てオープンできるので、早速「開」の状態にして写真を撮りました。このアングルが一番カッコイイのかも....。
で、マッハ号シリーズは今月で終了です。気が付けば、制作を始めてから２年もかかっちゃいました。マッハ号の完成写真は後日改めてちゃんと撮影するとして、この制作記事もバックナンバーとしてまとめて掲載します。ではまた。（2002.12.15）
Good evening. It is the last round "MACH Series"today.
At first,The axis for opening and closing was attached in the bonnet.
This puts in and carries out movable [0.3mm pipe] into a 1mm pipe, and has become applying.
It adjusts attaching and trying on a main part.
"GISMO BOX" was also attached on the bonnet.
Next, the windshield attached.
The windshield was adjusted deleting the portion which hits an edge left for applying paste while attaching in a main part at a trial.
Since it stops attaching when it deletes too much, and it is not exactly attached unless it deletes, it becomes a repetition of very delicate work.
It attaches in the place where the work hang upped.
At this time, I choiced the adhesives of the epoxy , which was 2 type of liquid was mixed.
Since both sides are not attached at once, it attaches sequentially from one side.
First, attaches one side, suppresses it with a finger, and it waits for it for 5 minutes.
This is repeated twice.
Since the center portion of glass came floating when it was [ this ] still, finally the portion of a center was pasted up in liquid Cemedine.
and this is completion now.
Open bonnet, since all bonnets can be opened ,I took this photograph.
I think that this angle is the most beautiful.
When remembering, it took two years.
