Spring has come here in Japan.
We are very exciting to see cherry blossoms in this season. Some pictures in my town today.

We have a plan to stay in xxx and operate aaa this Nov. This is our annual trip in DX land. We had a great holiday in FK land last year and almost 1200 QSOs were in the Log.
When everything is fixed then I will announce the details in this page. xxx is located near FK land in south pacific and IOTA is OC-nnn.
Band/Mode: 3.5MHz if possible and 7-28MHz, CW
Tranceiver: K2/100 or FT897 barefoot
Antenna: Random wire on Fishing Pole or/and Sigma 5

<Our Holiday in FK, Nov 2007>

We will depart from Tokyo to Noumea, New Caledonia at 11:55z on Nov 4.
It takes about 9 hours so it will be at 20:40z on Nov 4 when we arrive.
If everything goes OK then I will be on the air from 04:00z on Nov 5.
Nov 9 is the last day to be on the air.
Tranceiver is FT897/100w and Antenna is random wire with tuner.

<Hakone near Mt Fuji on Aug 8,9 2007>
Hakone is one of famous tourist places near Mt Fuji..
There are many hot springs and lake Ashinoko.
We can see beutiful Mt Fuji.
I took Elecraft K1 and whip antenna and enjoyed QRP.
Most of QSO are JAs but I worked VE7.

VE7に滞在中の運用だったので、CallはVE7/JA1NLXを使うように許可証に記述されていました。
因みにこの許可証は3ｹ月の有効期間がありました。

上記 Worldwide Information on Licensing for Radio Amateurs からﾀﾞｳﾝﾛｰﾄﾞ出来ます。
ﾌﾗﾝｽ語、英語で書かれていますが簡単な内容なので問題はありません。
(2)ﾊﾟｽﾎﾟｰﾄのｺﾋﾟｰ 1通
(3)無線従事者免許の英文証明書 1通
(4)無線局免許の英文証明書 1通
(3)、(4)については、上記JARLに詳細な解説があります。
・申請書の送付
必要な書類を下記宛送ります。念のため返信用封筒と2ﾄﾞﾙを同封しました。
Worldwide Information on Licensing for Radio Amateursによれば、申請書は到着の3ｹ月前には提出するように記述されています。
申請書は9/1に送りました。当初の情報では許可証は現地で手渡しと聞いていましたが、何と10/9には許可証が到着しました。
申請書に同封した返信用封筒と2ﾄﾞﾙもそのまま送り返してきました。
一時的な免許の場合、Callは、FK/JA1NLXとなります。
申請書は下記宛て送りました。

・頼れる旅行社
今回のFK行き自体は某大手旅行代理店のﾊﾟｯｹｰｼﾞﾂｱｰですが、ｱﾏﾁｭｱ無線の免許取得については全く頼りになりませんでした。
申請書を送ってから1ｹ月過ぎても音沙汰がなく、いささか心配になり、南太平洋専門の旅行社であるSouth Pacific Toursに相談しました。
South Pacific Toursは早速現地と連絡をとってくれて、更に監督官庁に出向いてくれました。その結果、ﾎﾞｸの申請書が届いていること、来週には許可証を郵送してくれるという情報まで送ってくれました。ここまでは全く好意で動いてくれたようでお金の請求もありませんでした。
勿論Noumeaにも支店があり何かと相談にのってもらえます。今回はお礼のつもりで現地でのｵﾌﾟｼｮﾝﾂｱｰ等を使わせてもらいました。
南太平洋での免許取得には事前に相談されるといいかと思います。
