Getting into the famous stuff now! This was far and away the largest print I tried this far. I made it at the same size as the original - the common ukiyo-e oban size. Although it may look not so bad when seen in this small computer image, I have to admit that the carving is pretty amateurish. There are chips and gouges everywhere on the lines, and none of them 'flow' smoothly like the original brush strokes.

The image is another by Moronobu, and is the first page of one of his 'shunga' albums. It is carved on a very nice piece of cherry that I brought back from Japan.

I think I was pretty proud of this one ... "Look at me, I'm a printmaker!" (Just don't look too closely ...)
