The kit is takes many parts from Studio 27's own Stewart from the 1999 season, which is a logical choice since the car hasn't been changed so drastically. (which is one of many reasons why Jaguar didn't do well, I guess.)  The body is cleanly cast just like other S27 kits, and it has no visible pin hole due to casting in the vacuum chamber.  The body also shows how well the original body is prepared compared to some of the recent Modeler's kit.
There are four resin parts in the kit; the body, under tray, seat and gearbox.  The body is one piece, and the radiator inlets are open, but the air intake isn't.  It looks a little too edgy, and the shape of rear end seems inaccurate, but the quality is still better than most of other resin kits in the market.  The gear box is nothing but a piece of resin to locate the suspension arms, so it doesn't have any details.  The seat is a chunk of resin shown in the picture, but the photo-etched part and seat belt detail will enhance the appearance.  The under tray is flat and cleanly cast also.  The edge is chamfered, so it appears thin, but it doesn't look quite as realistic as it should.  However, in order to improve it, it has to be scratchbuilt, and I haven't decided to proceed for it or not.
A strong reason of buying a Studio 27 kit is these machined wheels.  The insert is sharply made and looks beautiful.  It's a shame that I have to paint them.

Also, the kit includes grooved tires, and unlike Tamiya, it has excess rubber to be cut and smoothed.  I tried the tires from Tamiya's Ferrari F1-2000 kit, and it fit perfectly.

The photo-etched parts and decals are shown.  The decals are protected by a sheet of paper, and it stuck to the decal so firmly, so caution is necessary to prevent any damage on the decal.

The photo etched-part is beautifully made, and it will provides an overall appearance of the kit.   I particularly like the two-piece rear wing end plate.  The turning vanes are also represented with the photo etched parts as shown, but problem is that the shape of the latest one is very complicated, and it's almost impossible to make it with PE part.  I'd rather use this as a template and scratchbuild it by using a sheet of plastic, so that I can form a complicated free surface better.

The metal parts are shown.  The front wing is taken from the Stewart kit, and the end plate has straight guide line for a PE part, which has to be smoothed.  The uprights are supposed to be fixed with tiny screws, which is also included in the kit.
