JAPANESE VERSION I can't understand English!

Japanese children like to play with stag beetles. I was no exception to that as a child a long time ago.

But as the beetles were so abundant and easy to get, I never thought of raising them for breeding. I didn't have the appropriate knowledge, either.

Nowadays the stag beetles are getting less, mostly because of the recent city development.

Today, as the raising stag beetles as pets is getting popular among adults, their life styles are becoming clearer. Some of their kinds can be bred from generation to generation.

Having come to know many friends of the same age with the same hobby through the computer networks, I came to the idea that some people abroad may raise stag beetles as well, which is the reason I decided to open this webpage.

There may be some other unknown ways to raise them. If our knowledge could help foreign people breed various stag beetles, that would be exciting. I hope that we would be able to raise some of the foreign stag beetles which are forbidden here now.
