This bowl is made of walnut brought from my country. I studied the difficulty of finishing the depressed surface.

I got a raw wood in the neighborhood where people cut down the live tree. It was easy to carve a raw wood but I was worried about the crack.

I'm enjoying the change of color on this amber box. In this box, there are some stones rather than a jewel.

This is a sheath of my favorite Finnish knife. I picked up this firewood at my country.

I finished this decoy with wood wax. It is placed at alcove in my Japanese room.

After I carved by chisel, I used a scraper to smooth the surface. Oil and wax were applied for finish.

I painted urushi for this simple vessel. Urushi is Japanese traditional paint for excellent tablewares.
