Japanese name: (Ezo)Ibuki-torano-o

This plant grows at sunny field of highland to mountain. Ibuki is famous mountain as rich of wildflowers located the bouder of Siga and Gifu prefecture. Japanese name Ibuki-torano-o(Mt. Ibuki-tigre-tail) is that this there are many this plant in Mt. Ibuki and its shape looks like tiger tail. Poygonun bistorta var. ovatum(Ezo-Ibuki-toranoo) grows alpine of central Japan to Hokkaido. Old name of Hokkaido is Ezo. Colour of Ezo-Ibuki-toranoo's flower is pink.
