Japanese name: Side-kobusi

This plant is deciduous shrub or small tree, grows mousture and sunny field. The native plant remains only in Tokai-Area. This flower blooms before the leaves comes out. Japanese name Kobusi(fist) is that seed of this plant looks like fist. The colony of native plant are precious, and Colony in Atumi-peninsula Aichi-pref. is designated a special natural treasure.
