Japanese name: Ominaesi

This plant grows at sunny field. This plant is very popular flower, and one of Typical-Fall-Seven-Flowers in Japan. This plant was also very popular in old ara of Japan, and there remains many Japanese-traditional-poems in Manyou-syuu. Japanes name Omina-esi is from that Omina is from woman and Esi is from steamed-rice. It smells bad, when we use this for flower arrangement. Dried root of this plant is one of the Chanise-hurbe-medicine for diuretic.
