Iris
laevigata(family: Iridaceae) Japanese name: Kakitubata This plant grows at bog or shallow part of pond. Native plant is rare, and Kozutumi-nisi-ike(Aichi-pref.) is one of the native colony of this plant and designated a special natural treasure. Japanese name Kakitubata is from that sap of this flower is used for dyeing. |
