Grazie gentile virtuoso. I know you'll understand my italian words.
13. Eiichi Yagai (Nov. 5):

16. CHRIS KASIOLAS Jazz Guirar Player (Jan. 2):
I signed this GuestBook years ago but I felt the need to sign it again, to remind to every one what a great genius Joe Pass was.
Just recently, I transcribed by ear, Joe's solos on "Manha De Carnaval" and "It Had Better Be Tonight" from his album: "12 String Guitar".
His note choices, his phrazing and his melodic ideas, was so amazing that at times they where even better than the melody. Congratulations to Mr. Asahi for this wonderful site that carries Joe's legacy on. (--->my name is not "Asahi", but "Tabo Oishi"/Tabo)--->Sorry Tabo,I just got the other name from the bar on the top.
So congratulations to you Mr. Tabo Oishi for this wonderful site dedicated to the greatest JOE PASS as a monument for the generations to come. (Jan.5)
17. Mike Ansell (Jan. 3):
You were always a legend to me and I am lucky enough
to have 3 of your instructional videos. Thanks Joe
for your beautiful melodious playing and straight
talking on technique.
18. JOE MORELLA (Jan. 13):
WAS JUST LISTENING TO HIM...FORGOT HOW SMOOTH HE PLAYED.EFFORTLESS!
19. Ray Gallo (Feb. 26):
I met Joe on a number of occasions in London UK, first meeting him on his night off from accompanying Ella Fitsgerald. The folliwing weekend i brought to our house to meet my father Louis Gallo(also a guitar player/teacher like me, and my mother cooked pasta "a l'italiana"and he played guitar for many hours with us. I think Joe had an affinity for any genuine guitar players/fans. He also met up with Ken Steers (guitarist)who connected me to this beautiful tribute. In my opinion as a lifelong guitarist, Joe was a TRUE GREAT among jazz guitarists, especially for his beautiful melodic approach to improvising. MAY HIS MUSIC LIVE FOREVER. Many thanks to you for bringing us his fans this wonderful tribute. Viva sempre caro Joe.
20. Anders Thom (Mar. 5):
21. Mario B (Mar. 7): THANK YOU JOE FOR GIVING THE WORLD A LIFE TIME OF GREAT MUSIC.
22. sab (Mar. 17): from Italy, in memory of Joe, the greatest !
