Mops...."Michael's Object-oriented Programming System"

　Mops はマッキントッシュ上で動作する Forth に似た文法を持つフリーのオブジェクト指向プログラミング環境です。Windows環境でもMopsのOOPモデルがサポートされたものが公開されています（下記FAQを参照）。Mopsを使ってMacintoshアプリケーションを比較的簡単に作製することができます。対応機種がMac SE以降と非常に広いのも特長です。眠っているMacにもう一仕事してもらうことができます。

　2006/6現在ではPowerMops6.0がリリースされています。68k　Macには　Ver4.04が推奨されています（といいつつ、68k用のコードは現在どこでダウンロードできるのでしょう？・・・どなたか教えてください）。

　私の作製したプログラムはすべてver.2.31でコンパイルするようできています。残念ながら、現バージョンではコンパイルすることすらできません。

　Mops is a Forth like object oriented programming environment which can build your own application for Macintosh compueters.
The latest version of Mops is ver.6.0 , but all of my works was written for ver 2.3. Because the usage of some classes has changed since ver.2.7, the source programs cannot be compiled with newer versions. Sorry.

Part I introduction....

ver 2.6用マニュアルイントロダクションですが、ver3.0と大きな変更はないはずです（未確認ですが）。Mopsの雰囲気を少しでも味わってみて下さい。最新のものと＜基本は＞同じだと思います。

私が作ったプログラムです。残念ながら、動作および動作の結果による損害、バージョンアップに等については保証／補償いたしかねます。

No manual in English is available . But, maybe , you will understand how to use if you launch them.

Pleas use them at your own risk

(1)Replacer.lzh (64kb,compile: Mops 2.31)

テキストファイル中の単語の置換を行います。

Replaces all occurence of a word with another word.

(2)Wordlist (60kb,compile: Mops 2.31)

テキストファイル中の単語の数を数え、単語と頻度のリストをアプリケーションのおかれているフォルダ中に作製します。

Makes a list of word in a text file in the same folder with this application. counts the occurence of those, sort them alphabetically.

(3)appoint ver.0.46 (228kb,compile: Mops 2.31)

シンプルな予定表ソフトです。

(4)EW ver.0.36 (116kb,compile: Mops 2.31)

カーソル行にアンダーラインが表示される低機能エディタです。未完成品です

Small editer with underlined cursor and keyboard macro.This work is not completed yet(I have almost given up ;-).

(５)bomber 0.61 (84kb,compile: Mops 2.31)

ゲーム機で有名なボンバーマンを作ろうとしました。キーボードを複数つなげれば無理矢理５人まで遊べます。対戦モードのみです。このゲーム、あのロードランナーのプロトタイプと聞いたことがありますが...？

I just wanted to play "bomberman". Control bomber with keyboard(up to 5 player..;-). You can play it , but note that this work is not completed yet.

「Mops普及委員会極東支部」にMopsの使い方等が解説されています。こちらもどうぞ。

　２００６年現在、日本でMopsといえばこちらでしょう。Mopsに関する様々な話題・入門記事など精力的に書いていらっしゃいます。ただただ、脱帽です。
