Paddling in Japan

I enjoy paddling with Canadian canoe for over 15 years.

There are many nice paddling rivers in Japan.
Nakagawa is a nice river and close from Tokyo.
Nagaragawa (Gifu) is also nice.
Shimanto (Shikoku) and Kushiro (Hokkaido) are famous for backcountry canoe trip.

My home river is Sakuragawa, Tsukuba, Ibaraki. The river flows into Kasumigaura lake.
I invite friends for paddling.

Night paddling on the 1st Saturday in October is the most exciting, since the All Japan Fireworks Competition is held.
We become Pirates and rob Sake and Oden from audience.

Following are my recent paddling records.
Sorry, text is written in Japanese language.  But Altavista may help you.
