Hello traveler,
At IMC we stock all the great travel books and maps from Bradt and Lonely Planet, and we can obtain for you almost any travel guide book published in English either new or old regardless of where it was published. We also specialize in English books published in English in / on / for Japan. If you have never taken a look at the works of Tokyo's expat poets and other writers, you are missing both a lot of fun and a chance to learn about Japan beyond the politically correct, beyond the tour guides. Delve deeper; you'll enjoy it. The lists through the links below are frequently updated but are never perfect; so contact us when you do not see what you want.

SUPER BARGAINS - Sometimes we still have books that have recently been replaced by a new edition. These only last for a few weeks before being totally replaced by the new edition. If still available in our Iriya office, you may buy these books at a super low price. Available only for cash sale at our office. Not available online or by catalog. No credit cards; cash only. Great books. The mountains, rivers and history haven't changed. Prices of food and lodging probably have; so you should buy the newest edition if you are planning travel soon. The old books get chopped up and recycled, and I hate that. Better they find a home where they can still be of reference value or give pleasure to an armchair traveler. Stop in our office someday and see what is available.
