Shiosite, Shinagawa-Inter-City, Arc-Hills, Roppongi-Hills

Despite slumped economy, many urban developments were completed in central Tokyo.

Dentsu building in Shiosite was opened in December 2002. Shiosite area was once a cargo handling area of Japan Rail but now converted to development site of many sky scrapers. There are many good restaurant looking down Hamarikyu Park.

Sinagawa-Inter-City was also developed on the former  cargo handling area of Japan Rail. Greenwood family enjoyed a family gathering in one of restaurant in The String Hotel Tokyo in 26th floor of East One Tower.

Mr. & Mrs. Greenwood also took lunch in Japanese Restaurant Basara which is located in Arc-Hills. Arc-Hills was developed in 1986.

Arc-Hills and Suntory Concert Hall

After Arc-Hills they also visited Roppongi-Hills which was opened in April 2003. 17 yeas time were required to open this place after planning. Total area is 11.6 hectare which is 1.5 times of Ebisu Garden Place and 2 times of Arc-Hills.
