Kentyoji Temple is the most famous and No. 1 Zen temple in Kamakura City. It stays near Kita-Kamakura station of JR line. It was originally constructed about 750 year ago. Although the buildings are reconstructed in Edo times, but big bell and juniper trees in front of the gate are the original ones.

Engakuji Temple which is second Zen Temple in Kamakura also stand near Kentyouji Temple.
