Cobham

Mr. & Mrs. Greenwood have visited London in Christmas Holiday to join their daughter's family living in Cobham, Surrey. They enjoyed English countryside and Turkey and Christmas Puddings as well as lots of Bitter. Taking advantage of visiting England they also visited Brussels, Gent and Brugge as well. As all flights to Heathrow were cancelled due to famous fog, they took Eurostar from Brussels to Waterloo.

Harvested agricultural chemical free radish, carrots, sprouts and beets from allotment.

All visited Woodland Hotel for High Tea. International Restaurant Serial No.299)This hotel was build by Mr. Rowland Plumbe, a son of founder of match company, Bryant and May as his country house. The then Prince of Wales, who became King Edward VII, was a regular visitor, with his famous friend, the actress Lillie Langtry, who was also a friend of Oscar Wilde.

In the evening, all went to Shere Village beyond North Downs. After taking several pint of bitter in a pub called Chef & Brewer,

all joined to sing Christmas Carols with a vicar.

Completed reading a book "The Revenge of Gaia " by James Lovelock.

Toby prepared Christmas dinner.
