Kirizumi Hot Spring and Yatusugatake Highland Lodge

Mr. and Mrs. Greenwood decided to visit Kirizumi hot spring in November 7 to 9, 2005. On route to the place, they stopped at Mr. Ishihara who is going to rebuild their old house which was build some 150 years ago. The house was used for silkworm raising in Meiji period.

First day

They started their home in the morning and took lunch with Mr. Ishihara and his friends and headed to Kirizumi hot spring.

Second day

In the morning, they climbed 317m from the hot spring having the altitude of 943m.

After strolling in the woods, they had driven their Jeep up the hill of Karuizawa.

Then they visited old Motaijyuku.

They stayed in Yatsugatake Highland Lodge.

Third day

Under fine weather, they enjoyed the stay.

In the return trip, they saw a beautiful Mt. Fuji at Lake Kawaguchi.

They stopped at Hakone Highland hotel for coffee break.
