Banff Canada

In the summer of 2003, Mr. Uchida, a friend of Mr. Greenwood visited Banff, Canada and made walking and enjoyed golf with his old friend. He mailed Mr. Greenwood two beautiful photos taken by himself. With his permission, those photos are presented here.

Mr. Greenwood wondered why the color of the lake looks exactly same as that of the lake Tekapo in New Zealand. One reason might be that both lakes are collecting water from greasier.

He was also very impressed by the color of huge rock of Rocky Mountain Range. He soon realized that this place is famous of it's Burggess Shale of 600 million years old. Full story of this Shale and the Nature of History was brilliantly described by Stephen Jay Gould.
