In 1984, Mr. Greenwood visited Oahu Island, Hawaii, to attend US-Japan talk on the development of Alaskan gas field. The meeting place was Hilton Hotel at north shore. He found the north shore is very rough. It is too tough for beginner to enjoy surfing there.
