Mr. Greenwood visited Sonobe town at the west of Kyoto. When he took Sanin line from Kyoto, the train pass through Hozukyo. The river Katsura made a beautiful valley called Hozukyo just west of Kyoto.

After the business talk in Sonobe town, he visited Ruri valley. At the back of Ruri golf course, there is a hill called Miyama. He climbed the hill and found a shrine at the top of the hill. Although the height of the hill is only 791 meters, it is the highest in the area. From the top of the hill, he could see Japan sea and Osaka bay.
