Stayed over night in a Hotel in Selby near Leeds.
Next day, in November 7, 1971 went up to Scotch Corner and turned left towards Lake District. The road from Scotch Corner to Lake District is an old Roman Road. Passed Appleby in Westmorland. Found Brough Castle just before Penrith.
