Enjoying Cherry Blossom in Tokyo

In the midst of cheery blossom season, Mr. G. made a private guide of Tokyo using his private car. Fist, he parked his car in Marunouchi parking lot just west entrance of Tokyo station.  He started his car at noon, and made a clockwise circle tour around Imperial Palace. After cruising through Otemachi business center, he took metropolitan highway from Kanda Bashi to Odaiba through Rainbow Bridge, an arch bridge connecting mainland and artificial island called Odaiba. Then he took a rest at Ship Museum in Odaiba, he again took a metropolitan highway to Umibotaru Island via Haneda Air Port and Aqua Line connecting mainland and artificial island located at the center of Tokyo Bay. Actually, Aqua Line run under Tokyo Bay. After taking afternoon tea at the Umibotaru Island, he returned to Tokyo.  He got out of the metropolitan highway at Ginza.   After sight seeing in downtown of Tokyo, he arrived at Fairmont Hotel looking down Chidorigafuchi, a famous place for it's Cherry blossom. It took about 5 hours to do all of the tour. The view from the hotel room was magnificent. Especially in the evening, light up facilitate dramatic effect.

Next day, he took a stroll to Yasukuni Shrine. He checked out the hotel at 10 o'clock. He visited Shinjyuku City Hall via metropolitan highway and returned to Tokyo station at noon time.
