Mr. Greenwood visited Teheran. (Hotel Serial No.116) It was his first trip after he visited more than 20 year ago in the time of Shah. His purpose of visit is to attend 2nd. Conference on Caspian Oil and Gas Resources. He found substantial development in those 20 years. He visited carpet museum and took dinner in typical Iranian restaurant called "Kord Kazemi".

On November 10, he moved to Ashikabad (Hotel Serial No.117 & 118) via Baku. The purpose of visit is to attend meetings and to make survey as a consultant for the World Bank. Beside business, he visited local market in the dessert and found traditional Tolkuchka bazar selling local products to local people. Only difference from ancient times is private car instead of horse driven car.
