Birds
There are many kinds of bids in Seven Mile Beach. Most prominent one may be a kite. They like hilly place for its ascending current. Sea gulls comes next.

Frequently found migratory birds are bush warbler, white-eye, bulbul, blue rockthrush, redstart and Japanese great tit.

About 10 years ago, Mr. Greenwood found a young swallows asking help in Hayama harbor. He brought him home and fed grasshopper over 2 weeks. When he get very active, he was let free. He flew towards Hayama. Mr. Greenwood now know that this in not a good behaviour.

Mammal
Taiwan squirrel are spreading in this area. They are introduced species and chasing Japanese squirrel out here. Raccoon dog is also a native animal living in Hiromachi Green. In November 5, 2002, they are killed by car accident when they cross the road.
Raccoon is also introduce species. Traditional raccoon dog is disappearing. Many footprint of raccoon are found on the terrace floor and around water basin in the garden. They have to be removed.

Dolphins
You can also see dolphins jump near Koyurugi-point of Seven Mile Beach.
Reptile
You can find snakes in mountain near Seven mile Beach, but recently some of them crept into Greenwood home garden. He hopes it is not PitViper.
Insect
All sorts of insect inhabit here. Among them, Aphid and Scale Insect are worst insects that bite garden trees.
