Bike Touring Around Shikoku

Rotary Harley club made a bike touring around Shikoku Island  from 26 to 31 of October, 2005.

Touring Route (blue)

First day

Together with their bike, they departed Tokyo harbour on board a ferry, which will sail to Tokushima in Shikoku Island.

Second day

They have arrived Tokushima around noon. They visited Naruto bridge connecting Shikoku Island to main land.

In the evening, they arrived at Takamatsu.

Third day

In the early morning, they enjoyed a walk in a beautiful garden made a couple of hundred years ago by one of lord who ruled this area.

Then they visited Konpira Shrine and Zentuji Temple,

In the evening they arrived at Matsushima.

Forth day

They departed Matsushima and headed to River Shimanto via Uwajima. They enjoyed boat and lunch there.

Harimaya Bridge

After a long drive they finally arrived at Kochi

Fifth day

Final place to visit in Shikoku was Katsurahama Beach.

Akashi Bridge

After passing Akashi Bridge, they returned to main land. After a long drive they arrived at Nagahama Royal Hotel near Lake Biwa.

Sixth day

All members safely returned home. Total mileages was over 1,400km.
