Mr. Greenwood visited nearest wind farm situated at the end of Miura peninsula.
Two 400 kW generators are operating from 1996. Generators were supplied by N.E.G Micon in Denmark. To meet COP3 agreement, Japanese government is subsidizing 50% of installation cost.

Japan only have only one maker of wind mill. Most of them are imported from Europe. HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark visited this site on 20 October 1997.
