Nature Watching by City Forest Group

Mr. Greenwood is a voluntary member of City Forest Group of Hiromachi Green.

Objectives of the Group Activities are:

(1) Member's self education

(2) Watching what local government doing

(3) Proposal for the policy of City Forest Development in Hiromachi Green

The Group is planing to complete intermediate report in the coming March 2003.

Mr. Greenwood had investigated the dead or fallen trees. As a first step, he divided the Hiromachi Green into 50 meter meshes and identified sections by unique name. Mr. Greenwood walked along foot path, which run almost 8.6 km in the woods and found out about 360 dead or fallen trees.
