Group "One Step Foward" visited newly build Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, IGES in the end of September 2002. IGES was founded in 1997 when Kyoto Protocol was agreed.

The design of the building is very ambitious. Targeting 50% reduction of power consumption, concept of passive solar house was adopted. Many wood is also used for floor and other purposes.
