| The complex consists of a large
hall for musical performance, a small hall for the performance of plays,
and art galleries for temporary exhibition of paintings and sculpture. The
intention is to bring together every branch of the arts in a harmonious
environment. It is the first cultural facility in Japan to be constructed
on a collaborative basis by two local authorities, (the City of Otawara
and the Town of Nishinasuno, both in Tochigi Prefecture) |
