/The Uji River, Kyoto → Nakanoshima, Osaka

In the morning, we constructed an arrow-shaped, Styrofoam raft (3.5 x 8 meters) at the riverside near Tonoshima, Kyoto.

We then boarded it and floated down from the Uji River through the Yodo and Oo Rivers, and at 20:40 pm,

arrived at the eastern shore of Nakanoshima, Osaka.
