CHAPTER 6

Poem

My Sweet Babe

Wake up now, sweet babe.

Do you sleep all your life?

Come, come, sweep away all your dreams.

Candies, bonbons, biscuits,

Flower gardens, and the Blue Bird,

Sweep and sweep all your dreams.

Wake up now, my sweet babe.

O, no, no, no, I say no.

They are everything for my life.

Candies, bonbons, biscuits,

Flower gardens, and the Blue Bird,

They are all what I have.

Stand up now, sweet babe.

Do you creep all your life?

Come, come, stand up as your brothers.

Look straight into your abyss.

Don't cry for the still of loneliness,

Since it proves you are noble.

Stand up now, my sweet babe.

Scaring, scaring, it's scaring me.

Where have you gone, O, my dreams?

Candies, bonbons, biscuits,

Flower gardens, and the Blue Bird,

They are all what I've lost.

Start your struggle, sweet babe,

Do you run away all your life?

Come, come struggle as your brothers.

A blast of nihility will make you freeze.

A Flash of lightning will penetrate your body.

But, Those turn out your honorable glory.

Keep struggling, my sweet babe.

Biting, biting, it's biting me.

Why do I exist here at all?

You, freezing winds

And heavy rains,

What on earth will become of me?

O, you, my sweet babe,

Those are beautiful and deserve my love

Who struggle their way all their life.

I'm always standing behind you.

When you'll have finished your struggle,

Then is the time to embrace you.

Until, until, until then,

Watching you is what I can.

Come, keep struggling, my sweet babe.

O, you, a noble nature.
