Offline use
You can download the pages containing the series of kanji you are interested in. As soon as the applets are fully initialized ( when they are displayed on your screen), you can cut off the connection and work offline. Browsers keep several applets running in memory before destroying them (The number depends on the browser and the memory your computer can use).
Most browsers also give you the possibility to relaunch an applet from the history list. It means that you should be able to close your browser, turn off your computer and relaunch the applets later without connecting to our site (just disregard and close the dialog box that may pop up to ask you to connect).
Unfortunately, you will have to search for our pages in your history list and they will eventually be flushed out when your browser's cache is full. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If the applet fails to launch from your history list, please connect to our site. If the applet is still in your browser's cache, it will not be downloaded again. It will launch after making sure there is no newer version on our server.
