She is among the ones who sprouted out from the movie "The Group"(1966) made by Sidney Lumet, along
with Candis Bergen, Joan Hackett, Elizabeth Hartman, and Joanna Pettet (it seems only Shirley Knight had established
a fame as an actress by that time), and all they are more or less to adorn movies of the late 1960s and the 1970s.
Jessica Walter is tall and very straightly beautiful even among these eminent actresses. However, the most memorable
role she ever played is probably the one in Clint Eastwood's "Play Misty for Me"(1971) in which she played
a psychotic girl who stalks none other than Clint Eastwood.
