Jean Simmons gained her fame during 1950s. she starred in several historical movies such as "The Robe"(1953)
with Richard Burton and "Young Bess" with Stewart Granger. She was fortunate because she managed to get
roles later in life unlike other actresses of her age who lost roles as they got older. She has starred in movies
even in this decade. This is very likely due to her beauty and grace. I still find her appearance to be a little
odd though. At times, her face reminds me of Anthony Perkins of "Psyco". I love her in the comedy "The
Grass Is Greener"(1960), because she is so mischievous that even Cary Grant can't contain her.
