NOTE


As you might notice by the picture above, she has mysterious blue eyes. And her eyes look like having no focul point. Therefore, her presence always added peculiar atmosphere to the movies she appeared. I am really ashamed to confess that, while watiching her movies, I am always attracted and sucked into her eyes completely oblivious to whatever else is happening in that movie. She played an alcoholic in the movie "Days of Wine and Roses"(1962) for which she was nominated for the best actress Academy Award, and proved she was not just another decorative doll-faced actress. I guess she must have played an temperance woman in the movie "The Hallelujah Trail"(1965) because she had learned a lot about alcoholic through the devastating experience of "Days of Wine and Roses". It's just a joke.
